283600 Shelf Hang Track, 80 In., White Steel

The ClosetMaid 283600 Shelf Hang Track is a steel mounting system designed to simplify the installation of adjustable shelving in closets and storage spaces. Instead of fastening shelf standards directly into wall studs, drywall, or concrete, this horizontal track mounts at the top of the wall and allows standards to hang securely from it. This approach eliminates the need for multiple wall penetrations while keeping your shelving system flexible and adjustable.

This track system is ideal for homeowners and contractors building custom shelving solutions that require standards at various heights. The front-facing lock mechanism holds standards firmly in place, and standards can only be removed by tilting them out—adding a safety layer that prevents accidental displacement. The white finish complements most décor choices.

Features and Benefits

• Easy Installation: Mount level at the wall's top; standards hang from the track without individual fastening, reducing installation time and labor.
• Adjustable Heights: Wire shelves and standards can be positioned at any height on the track, allowing flexible reconfiguration as storage needs change.
• Safety Lock Design: Front-facing locks secure standards in place; tilting is required for removal, preventing accidental shifts or damage.
• Suitable for Multiple Applications: Works for both residential and commercial shelving projects.
• Customizable Length: Can be trimmed with a hacksaw to fit non-standard wall widths.
