4637ga Wedge Sanding Sponge, Medium Grit, 5 In. X 2-1/2 In.

The Gator 4637GA Wedge Sanding Sponge is a contoured abrasive tool designed to tackle curved surfaces, flat panels, and hard-to-reach corners with ease. Its wedge shape and flexible, high-density foam core conform to irregular profiles and deliver consistent results across wood, metal, drywall, fiberglass, and painted surfaces. This medium-grit sanding sponge reduces swirl marks while providing the right balance between material removal and finish quality, making it ideal for prep work before staining, painting, or polishing.

Whether you're refinishing furniture, smoothing automotive panels, or tackling general home repairs, this versatile sanding sponge works both wet and dry. The soft edge design excels at controlling edges and reaching tight angles that flat pads cannot access. Its closed-cell foam construction traps dust particles, keeping your workspace cleaner while reducing airborne debris—a significant advantage for health and convenience during extended projects.
