7780830 Stops Rust Primer Spray, White, 12 Oz.

Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Primer Spray is a 12-ounce aerosol primer designed to prepare heavily rusted metal surfaces for topcoat application. This white, flat-finish primer creates a sound, paint-ready base that promotes adhesion of Stops Rust enamels and other topcoats, helping prevent chipping, cracking, and peeling while often eliminating the need for multiple finish coats. The oil-based formula seals metal against moisture and corrosion, making it ideal for automotive, furniture, hardware, and outdoor metal projects.

Whether restoring garden tools, garage doors, or metal furniture, this fast-drying primer delivers consistent coverage from an aerosol can, reducing overspray and waste. Its white base provides bright, uniform contrast that enhances color accuracy of lighter-colored topcoats, while the protective coating withstands repeated cleaning and environmental exposure.
