25-004 Wire Connector, 18-22 Awg, Yellow, 25-pack

Gardner Bender WireGard twist-on wire connectors are designed for joining two or more copper wires in general-purpose electrical applications. These connectors are ideal for residential lighting circuits, outlet and switch wiring, and light commercial installations where reliable, code-compliant connections are essential. The bright yellow color provides instant visual identification, reducing the risk of mismatched wire sizes in busy work environments.

Each connector features an injection-molded, high-impact polypropylene housing that resists heat distortion up to 105°C and shields wires from environmental extremes, chemical action, and mechanical vibration. The inner zinc-plated spring uses a patented square-spring design that creates firm, uniform pressure for a secure bond and maintains consistent electrical continuity with minimal voltage drop. These connectors require fewer turns to reach required torque while meeting or exceeding UL pull-out and dielectric test standards.

Features and Benefits

• 18–22 AWG Compatibility: Optimized for medium-gauge copper wire sizes, perfect for most residential and light commercial circuits.
• High-Visibility Yellow: Bright color coding simplifies sorting and verification on panels and in junction boxes.
• Zinc-Plated Square Spring: Resists corrosion and provides consistent compression for a low-resistance connection that meets NEC standards.
• Flame-Retardant Housing: Thermoplastic shell resists heat buildup and chemical damage, extending connector lifespan in demanding applications.
• Deep Skirt Design: Prevents exposure of bare copper wire, enhancing safety and durability.
• 25-Piece Pack: Sufficient quantity for residential remodels or commercial installations, reducing the need for frequent reordering.
