Gardner Bender WireGard twist-on wire connectors are designed for joining two or more copper wires in general-purpose residential and commercial electrical applications. These large red connectors accommodate wire gauges from 18 to 10 AWG, making them versatile for a wide range of wiring tasks. The 25-piece count is ideal for large-scale wiring jobs, providing enough connectors for substantial projects without requiring multiple packages.
WireGard connectors feature a durable polypropylene shell with side knurling that provides an easy, secure grip during installation. The zinc-plated square spring inside delivers tight, positive contact with wires and ensures reliable electrical continuity. The design requires fewer turns than standard connectors to reach required torque specifications, speeding up installation while maintaining secure connections that meet or exceed UL pull-out and dielectric test requirements.
