Scotts 18222 Turf Builder Rapid Grass Tall Fescue Mix, 5.6 Lbs.

Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Tall Fescue Mix combines grass seed and fertilizer in one formula, designed to establish a thick, green lawn quickly on new lawns or to overseed existing grass. This unique blend provides extended feeding as the grass grows, delivering results faster than seed alone.

Compared to seed alone when applied at the new lawn rate with proper care, this mix grows grass up to 2x faster, with visible growth in as little as 11 days and full establishment within weeks. The tall fescue seed thrives in spring or fall when soil temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F, making it ideal for both new lawn projects and filling in bare or problem areas in established turf.

Features and Benefits

• Dual-Action Formula: Combines tall fescue seed and fertilizer in a single application, eliminating the need for separate products and providing continuous nutrition as the lawn grows.
• Rapid Growth: Produces visible grass growth in 11 to 21 days and establishes a full lawn in weeks rather than months, compared to seed-only products applied at new lawn rates.
• Versatile Use: Works for both new lawn establishment and overseeding existing grass areas that need filling or renovation.
• Easy Application: Works with standard Scotts spreaders and requires only light soil raking before application, simplifying lawn establishment and renovation.
