Sure-temp 208463 Insulated Wall Thimble, 8-in, 22-in Od

The Selkirk Sure-Temp Insulated Wall Thimble is designed to safely vent residential heating appliances that burn wood, #2 oil, natural gas, or LP gas through an exterior wall. This insulated thimble eliminates the need for individual firestops and provides the required clearance to combustibles, simplifying installation while protecting your home's structure from heat damage.

An insulated wall thimble serves as a transition point where stove pipe or chimney pipe passes through a wall opening. The Sure-Temp's round shielding acts as a radiation shield, maintaining safe distances from framing and combustible materials. This product is ideal for homeowners installing or upgrading wood stoves, gas heaters, oil furnaces, and other appliances that require venting through exterior walls.
