Rust-oleum 2067830 Stops Rust Automotive Primer Spray, Red, 12 Oz

Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Automotive Primer Spray is a 12-ounce aerosol designed to provide a durable, rust-inhibitive base coat for automotive refinishing projects. This red primer delivers consistent coverage on bare or lightly rusted metal surfaces, preparing them for topcoat application with automotive lacquers or enamels. The primer seals exposed metal and prevents rust formation, making it essential for body work, frame repairs, and touch-up jobs on vehicles exposed to harsh climates.

Whether you're a DIY enthusiast tackling a garage project or a professional body shop handler, this fast-drying primer streamlines your prep work by reducing wait time between coats. The formula bonds strongly to substrates, minimizing paint flaking and chipping while filling minor surface imperfections for a professional-grade result. Its sandable composition allows for surface finishing before applying your final paint system.
