249729 Smart Prime Water-based Stain Blocking Primer, White, 1 Gal

Zinsser Smart Prime is a water-based interior/exterior stain blocking primer that delivers professional-grade performance for DIY and commercial projects alike. This advanced formula blocks water-soluble and oil-based stains, providing a clean, sealed surface for topcoat application. Whether you're refinishing wood, drywall, metal, or other surfaces, Smart Prime creates an ideal foundation that ensures even color and finish without the need for sanding glossy substrates.

The zero VOC, water-based formula combines the stain-blocking strength traditionally found in oil-based primers with the convenience of a water-based system. Its exceptional flow and leveling properties minimize brush and roller marks, while superior adhesion works without surface preparation on many applications. The mold and mildew-resistant dried film protects both interior and exterior surfaces for long-lasting results, keeping environments healthy and clean.
