Dwe6420 Random Orbit Sander, 5 In., 3 Amp

The DeWalt DWE6420 is a 5-inch random orbital sander powered by a 3-amp motor delivering 12,000 orbits per minute for efficient sanding. It is designed for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals working on wood finishing, paint removal, and surface preparation. The random orbital motion produces a smooth finish across various materials, making it an effective tool for furniture restoration, home improvement projects, and professional carpentry applications.

The compact, shorter design allows users to get closer to the work surface and maneuver easily in tight spaces. The PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) pad system makes sandpaper changes quick and convenient. The separate counterweight significantly reduces vibration, and the rubber overmold grip ensures comfortable, secure handling during extended use. One-handed locking dust bag attaches securely for dust collection, or the sander can connect directly to DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors for enhanced dust management.
