2304 Gardz Problem Surface Sealer, Clear, 1 Qt.

Zinsser Gardz Problem Surface Sealer is a specialized primer that locks down porous and crumbling surfaces, including damaged drywall, adhesive residues, and other chalky or compromised wall areas. This low-odor, water-based formula penetrates damaged surfaces and creates a hard, paintable seal that dries to a clear, matte finish. It restores problem areas to a stable, repair-ready condition before skim coating, spackling, or painting.

Gardz solves common drywall challenges by preventing bubbling and delamination under joint compound, reducing future cracking and re-work. Whether you're repairing torn paper, sealing adhesive residue from wallpaper or labels, or addressing weakened gypsum, this sealer bonds with the core of damaged areas to provide long-term stability. The quick-drying formula allows you to move from sealing to finishing in hours, speeding up renovation timelines.
