24-63795 Garden Weed Preventer, Pre-emergent Granules, 5.6 Lbs.

Preen Garden Weed Preventer is a pre-emergent herbicide that stops weeds from germinating before they start, giving you a neat, weed-free garden bed all season long. This 5.6-pound container covers up to 900 square feet and provides weed prevention for up to three months per application. By preventing new weeds from sprouting, Preen eliminates the need for hand-weeding, allowing your valuable plants to grow larger and stronger.

Preen is safe for use around more than 200 established flowers, vegetables, trees, and shrubs, making it ideal for flower beds, vegetable gardens, ground covers, and landscape plantings. Unlike some herbicides, Preen will not kill existing weeds or affect established lawn grass, so it works best after you have removed any current weeds from the area. You can apply Preen anytime in spring, summer, or fall whenever you want to establish a weed-free growing zone.
