N184-788 Door Closer, Shock Absorbing, Steel, 13.87 In

The National Hardware N184-788 is a shock-absorbing door closer designed for screen doors, storm doors, and other lightweight doors made of wood or metal. This pneumatic closer uses an air-damping system to gently control door closing speed, preventing harsh slams that can damage door frames and hardware. It provides positive latching to help protect against wind damage, making it ideal for residential entryways, porches, and light-traffic applications where smooth, quiet operation matters.

Whether you're protecting a new door installation or upgrading an existing one, this closer extends the life of your door hardware by eliminating sudden impacts. The adjustable closing speed dial lets you customize operation to suit your needs. The black steel construction resists corrosion and wear over time.
